Was driving through town with my mom on a Monday afternoon and we stopped to have Brunch here. It's a cute little spot and relatively quiet. There were probably a handful of other patrons at the time. The crowd eventually picked up around 1-2 pm.
The atmosphere was very homey and quaint. It reminded me of a "Luke's Diner" vibe from Gilmore Girls.
The staff were really friendly and explained the menu well. We didn't feel rushed at all.
The prices were good for the portions and the pumpkin spice coffee was amazing. I'd highly recommend.
There's even a little bakery portion of the restaurant to take little baked goods home.
The only complaint I did have was my mom received a noticeably dirty mug for her coffee and dirty silverware as well. The waitress was very kind and replaced it right away. Other than that 5/5 -

Three of us went for lunch today, two of us ordered the seafood bisque, not one drop of seafood was in either cup? There was also some gummy noodles that did not belong in a bisque.
The lunch came and both of my friends had sandwiches which were good, I ordered the quiche Lorraine which had uncooked bacon in it. I pulled out all of the flabby pieces and the cheese was fine. We ordered 2 cupcakes for dessert and they were average, the apple tart was served cold and also not great.
The ambiance needs some updating as the wallpaper is peeling and unattractive.
This is the second time I have dined here and sorry to say it will be the last. -

Awesome spot in the middle of Sparta for fresh food and great staff. Everyone is extremely friendly and accommodating. The food is always great and full of flavor. The prices are fair and there's a lot to choose from on the menu. Especially nice to sit out on the porch for lunch when the weather is warm!
Also don't forget to stop and check out their bakery items. They're the best part! -

I stopped by Cafe Pierrot today for lunch. I had a bowl of the mushroom soup, which came with two slices of their homemade bread. I specifically asked for a glass of water with no ice. The reason for the two stars is that the waiter, Andrew, brought out a glass chock full of ice and a pitcher of ice water for the table. Unapologetically, he thought that I said I wanted ice. Five minutes later, he finally remedied the situation. But what really got me was his attitude--almost as though he couldn't be bothered. Also, my soup was brought out lukewarm, which I just proceeded to eat because I was in a hurry today. My mom and I used to adore this place, and now with my experience here today, I'm not sure I'll be back, sadly.

I love this place for it's lunch, bread, and amazing desserts. But today I called for a specific cookie. Amber said there were 2 left and I immediately told her my name and that I would be there within 30 minutes. When I arrived and asked for the 2 cookies that I just drove 10 miles for, Amber casually commented, "oh yes you called for the 2 cookies, but now there's just one. I never but them aside".
NOT COOL Amber..
Very disappointed!
